| While the protest wasn't unlawful - it is possible he was in traffic, or aggrivating passers-by. the whole story is NOT on this tape. Hte only thing I saw was the makings for a small riot - people getting riled up - so to dissipate the group - they took the focus away. I am not advocating - just observing.

| though its pretty fucking lame to arrest someone on the basis of a curse word, it shouldnt have been a surprise. Plus if your going to protest with something that says such a thing, you better had come to terms with any consequences which may result from such an action.
btw, I dont think this is indicitive of the collapse of american freedom. It is an example of two dickhead cops doing their job, albeit with a cock up their ass.
there is no such that as american freedom. if you want american freedom, just say what you really mean. You mean in saying that if you want american freedom, you want to be a sheep.
freedom is a standalone word people.
if it is american freedom, it is not freedom at all.

| Not that I know the state of play in america - but this fairly heinous act can't necessarily be indicative of the collapse of american freedom. It may just be the egos of the police officers involved - as opposed to orders from on high telling them to supress the population.
Should people be able to walk around with signs that say: "fuck" - the answer must be yes, since I can post it on a website with impunity - watch it in movies constantly... etc...
